The New Cinephile is a review journal that celebrates cinema’s emerging and diverse talent. The journal covers independent, microbudget, and student films. It considers all genres and formats of film, but specializes in short comedy and drama.


About Dan

Dan Stalcup is the founder, editor, and critic of The New Cinephile. He is also the film critic of review site and podcast The Goods. Dan is a member of OFCS, Hollywood Creative, and Film Independent. He lives outside DC and has two wonderful kids.
