Hello, and welcome to The New Cinephile, a review journal for microbudget, independent, and student films. Here we will celebrate cinema’s emerging and underground talent. The journal will cover all genres and formats of film, but will focus especially on comedy and drama.

My name is Dan Stalcup and I am a film critic looking to learn more about up-and-coming filmmakers. You can find my main film reviews journal and my podcast over at The Goods: Film Reviews.

You can reach me at dan.stalcup@gmail.com.

Happy watching!

Dan Stalcup is the film critic for The New Cinephile and The Goods. Reach him at dan.stalcup@gmail.com.
